Night Heron - Manasota Key

Another Why I Love Florida!!!This heron followed us while we were walking down the beach at Manasota Key. He actually posed so I could snap his photo. I painted him and I'm happy with the way he turned out. I do need to work on painting water!

Seagull again!

I love this photo, and I painted it earlier, but wasn't really happy with the sky, so I painted it again with a very different sky. I love how this one came out.

Grasshopper

This wonderful grasshopper is from a photo by Leisa Walker who graciously allowed me to paint it. I loved the photo. I am very happy with the way the Grasshopper turned out. Love the beautiful blue eyes.
