Spring Tulips

These tulips were painted fast and easy. I have been trying out new watercolor paper. This is Twinrocker, and its yummy. Easy to lift, takes the paint quickly and wonderful to work with. Very expensive tho :(

Polka dot flip flops - Another pastel

These flip flops was a quick and easy pastel I did on a brown paper grocery bag. I really have to invest in some pastel paper!!! Pastel is really fun to experiment with, because unlike watercolor you don't have to wait for them to dry!!!!

Sandpiper - Study of reflections

Little Captain

This is a Watercolor 1\4 sheet Arches 140# paper. The little sweetie is my oldest grandson Michael. He was Captain for the day and took us for a boat ride around Lake Washington. This is almost finished, and has a seal of approval from the Little Captain himself

Cheetah WIP in pastels

For a while now I have been wanting to try Pastels. I finally drew this off and jumped in. The paper is plain old brown paper grocery bag. This cat isn't finished, he needs spots, a chin and whiskers. I will post the finished version. I like using pastels, but need a blender and shader. Next I will try birds.
